STRESS AND MAKEUP

When I teach makeup lessons I always stress how a few little things can make a huge difference for an easy everyday look!

A) Small Changes that make a Big Impact!

Making sure you have the right moisturizer/serum under the makeup that is right for your skin type to either provide added hydration or to combat shine throughout the day makes a huge difference!

I also cannot stress enough that finding your perfect foundation color to match to your skin tone is worth it's weight in gold! Whether it's a tint, full coverage foundation or concealer-the right shade should be blended carefully into the hairline, underneath the neck/chin and especially under and over the eyes. By having full and even coverage gives you a youthful, well rested, healthy glow!

B) Important Aspects to Focus on for a Great, Fresh Day Look!

A few points to focus on for the everyday makeup would be:

Either Blush or Bronzer (or both) applied in an upward motion to raise the face and provide a nice healthy glow!
STRESS AND MAKEUP
Foundation/Concealer to even out skin (as I mentioned above)

Lightly fill in the brows with a natural looking shade
Eyeliner on top of the lash line to define eyes
Mascara
Lastly finish off the fresh day look with a lipstick or gloss with a hint of color!

C) Tips for Day to Night!

Another favorite tip of mine!  No need to bring 12 more products in your purse to switch from your day look to night! All you need is the same eyeliner you used in the morning-making a darker more dramatic line on top adding a little wing tip for fun flair and also lining the lower inner water rim for nighttime drama!

A small duo eyeshadow (one w/dark & light shade) to create a smokey eye using the darker shade in crease & the lighter color for highlight under the brow & inner corner of the eye! Even take your finger and swipe a bit of the lighter shade on the upper cheekbone for shimmer!
Lastly- powder once again all over the face and a swipe of colorful gloss on the lips to bump it up!

1) Holidays! 'Tis the season for Glamour & Glitter!:)
During the holidays-anything goes! Our outfits and accessories get a bit more bedazzled-so why shouldn't our makeup!  Properly placed champagne/nude colored shimmer/sparkle is a must! Lightly applied over any shadow color and tapped onto the inner eye corner jazzes up any eye makeup! Also-dusting it on the temple, upper cheekbone, down the middle of the nose and of course generously sprinkled all over the shoulers and chest (decollete) is incredibly festive!

This years holiday trends are without a doubt going back to the 1940's old Hollywood look! A simple yet glamorous sheer colored eyeshadow swept over the entire lid , eyebrows extended with a matte brow pencil, finished off with a black velvety liquid eyeliner & thick black mascara! This year the ever so popular trend of adding a few individual false lashes at the ends will no doubt perfect the look!
Last but not least! What would a Hollywood siren be without her trademark deep red lip? Tap concealer all over the lips, outline with a deep liner, apply a matte lipstick and forgo the gloss-matte is in!
